This year, PII hosted the third in-person Patient Insight Congress, on November 6-7 in Bethesda, MD, bringing together 70 attendees, including patients, caregivers, advocates, and researchers.
The theme Navigating Together was woven throughout the conference, emphasizing that health, healing, and hardship are not experienced, or addressed, alone, but within interconnected systems of care, community, and policy. Across panels and discussions, speakers highlighted how financial hardship, caregiving, and access barriers often remain invisible in clinical settings, underscoring the need for collaboration, trust, and shared responsibility to make these challenges visible and actionable. Together, patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and advocates demonstrated that meaningful progress comes from listening across perspectives and co-creating navigation and support solutions that center humanity, dignity, and equity.
