Care Without Barriers: Making Navigation Accessible for Every Caregiver

Family caregivers play an essential but often invisible role in the United States’ care ecosystem. Despite contributing billions of dollars in unpaid labor and holding communities together through intergenerational caregiving, these individuals often navigate overwhelming and fragmented health and social service systems without sufficient support. This paper presents a qualitative exploratory gap analysis of needs navigation services for caregivers, with a particular focus on issues of social isolation, access, and affordability.
