Barriers to Vaccine Confidence: The Impact of Healthcare Shifts on Vaccine Confidence

Together with AMCP's Research Institute, this survey of 569 U.S. adults with chronic illnesses found that vaccine hesitancy is driven more by confusion than access, particularly around evolving COVID-19 guidance and pharmacy availability. Findings highlight the need for clear, consistent, and targeted communication from providers and pharmacies to reduce uncertainty and improve timely vaccination among high-risk populations.
